The Hollard Money Coach plays a key role in supporting clients to improve their credit management skills and achieve long-term financial stability. 

As a coach, you will provide clients with personalised coaching sessions covering key financial topics such as budgeting, credit scores, credit solutions, and debt management.  

This role is focused on empowering clients with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to make informed financial decisions and improve their overall financial health. 

The Hollard Money Coach is particularly valuable for individuals who are financially constrained, as it provides guidance on managing debt effectively while building sustainable financial habits. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Providing support and recommendations to clients’ financial needs by acting as an intermediary between Hollard and key partners (e.g. JustMoney, DebtBusters, Sanlam and others) through: 

  1. Delivering personalised financial coaching, including: 
    • Budgeting and financial planning  
    • Credit score education and improvement  
    • Credit solutions and product guidance (via partners) 
    • Debt management strategies 
    • Debt consolidation and debt relief referrals  
  2. Engaging with clients across multiple channels to understand their financial needs:  
    • Digital platforms 
    • Telephony  
  3. Identifying appropriate solutions and guiding clients toward suitable products or services within the Hollard and partner ecosystem.  
  4. Managing client queries effectively by providing clear, accurate, and timely feedback 
  5. Conduct proactive outbound engagement to: 
    • Promote financial wellness 
    • Educate clients on financial wellness  
    • Encourage ongoing client participation 
  6. Transferring and referring clients appropriately, including 
    • Financial Consultants for debt review or debt relief  
    • Relevant partners for loans or financial solutions  
    • Hollard insurance channels for protection products 

 

Key Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 6 months in current role  
  • No active disciplinary records  
  • Knowledge of the National Credit Act (NCA) and FAIS Act (advantageous)  
  • Strong understanding of: 
    • Credit lifecycle  
    • Debt management 
    • Financial products  
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (certificate, diploma, or degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Credit, or a related field
